Union of Christians Church is a Full Gospel Church located in St Petersburg, Russia, dedicated to spreading the good news about Jesus Christ. Pastored by AFCM Members, Dmitri and Anya Poliakoff, Union of Christian turned 17 years old on December 25, 2008.
“It is such a joy to look back over the years and to look out over our congregation and see what the Lord has done! It’s simply incredible! And despite the hardships, the tragic moments, the testings, trials, and tribulations, we can say without a doubt that it has all be worth it. In all things He has always called us to triumph in Christ!”
Union of Christians has a number of ministry opportunities including music ministry, fellowship meetings for men, women, youth, and the elderly, as well as the Golden Apples Children's Club. Outreaches include ministry to prisons, rehab centers, orphanages, and children’s homes.
In January, Union of Christian put on the dramatic stage production, “Heaven’s Gates & Hell’s Flames.” About 50 people came forward at the end to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! And all of these people came forward with no promoting and no hesitation. “Bread of Life” worked in cooperation with UCC in providing Bibles for those who made decisions for Christ at each of the performances. Since the beginning of this year, Union of Christians has held 16 performances in churches, rehab centers, and camps all over the western region of Russia.
What’s ahead for Union of Christians? The building of Faith Farm! The foundation has been laid, the next phase is to raise the ground floor to one level, reinforce the structured steel, and pour the concrete walls for the ground floor. We will have a narrow timeframe for assembling the entire building before winter, therefore will have to have all construction materials in place.
Please keep these things in your prayers. We know our labor is not in vain and that this building is being built by the Lord. We just need His timing, His plan, Hi process, and Hi provision.
