Become part of a trusted network of ministers, united in faith and equipped to lead with strength.
Becoming a member of AFCM provides support and accountability, connecting you to a larger family of ministers. As a member of AFCM, you’re not doing ministry alone—you are a part of a faith-filled organization that offers encouragement, accountability, and guidance along the way.
Whether you’re just starting in ministry, already well-established, or faithfully serving in a support role, there’s a place for you in the AFCM family. Here are the different ways you can be connected and credentialed through AFCM:
A great starting point for those who feel called to the five-fold ministry but are still growing in experience. This may include Bible school graduates, individuals just beginning their ministry journey, or those new to AFCM. Licensing is intended to support and recognize emerging ministers as they develop in their calling.
For seasoned ministers actively serving in the five-fold ministry. It is intended for those with proven ministry experience who are typically engaged in full-time ministry and have clearly demonstrated their calling.
This status is for those who already hold credentials with another organization but want to be connected to and enjoy the benefits of AFCM membership — including relationship, encouragement, and support.
Designed for individuals serving faithfully in support or helps ministry — whether on staff or as volunteers. This level of membership honors those who play vital roles behind the scenes.
Note: Christian Worker applications must be initiated by the applicant’s pastor, who must already hold credentials with AFCM.
Submit your application and dues by December 31 to avoid a $25 late fee. Credentials lapse after January 31, with reinstatement fees.
AFCM provides spiritual covering but does not govern its member ministries, which operate independently. However, it upholds and promotes integrity, Godly character, and moral excellence, encouraging members to do the same.
Support, leadership, and spiritual covering for member ministries sharing common beliefs, seeking fellowship, and requiring reputable ministerial credentials.

Your Regional Director may contact you to schedule an appointment for a personal interview so that your application can be reviewed.
